From the moment we met Barb and Laurie for the consultation they made us feel at ease, they made us feel they were not going to just play the "usual", they told us this was our day and the music was going to be what we wanted. Barb and Laurie walked us through making the music EXACTLY how we wanted, when we were unsure they would play something to reassure us. Our guests came up to us all night asking about our ceremony music, telling us how unique it was, and how US it was. I was thrilled to have Occasional Notes perform at my wedding. Their repertoire of music is extensive and impressive, appealing to all tastes and styles. I left our consultation feeling inspired, confident and excited. Occasional Notes brilliantly adds a unique and modern edge to piano performance. Their performance beautifully enhanced the atmosphere my husband and I had hoped to achieve on our wedding day. I still get goose bumps thinking about the music. I try to find other words to use to describe the music but nothing sums it up better than perfect! I would recommend Occasional Notes over and over again. Occasional Notes played at our daughter’s wedding last summer in the Okanagan Valley. Their music was wonderful. Everything was perfect from the choice of songs to the quality of the music and the timing. The ceremony was held in our backyard, and to this day, neighbours are still commenting on the beauty of the music. The ladies of Occasional Notes are very talented and understanding – they were a pleasure to work with!

"Occasional Notes" were a very important part of our daughter’s wedding day. We met with Barb and Laurie in the planning stages of the wedding. Their knowledge of music, their music suggestions and the execution of their pieces was truly extraordinary. They suggested music that suited the style of wedding and the personality of the bride and groom. At the rehearsal they encouraged everyone to take their time so we could all enjoy being in the moment and at the same time they took control of the timing and organization of the ceremony.
